The AAA announcement signals that the hotel has retained its prestigious ranking based upon meeting rigorous standards of service, facilities and amenities which the revered travel organization associates with the finest luxury hotels. More than 60,000 properties are evaluated each year by AAA’s professional evaluators, and less than one third of one percent of them typically earn a AAA Five Diamond designation.

The renewed AAA Five Diamond ranking for The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte comes on the heels of its successful December 2010 opening of Urban Sip wine and Scotch bar, presenting the region’s largest selection of premium wines by the glass.
