Jacob’s Ladder Job Center, Inc. (Jacob’s Ladder) announced today a new date and location for its inaugural fall signature event will now be held on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011 (it was previously scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 27) to raise critical funds necessary in helping unemployed and underemployed people get back to work.
“The Winners Circle: A Gathering of Community Champions” is a casino night benefit and 13th anniversary celebration for Jacob’s Ladder will now be held at Founders Hall located at 100 North Tryon Street in Charlotte with a VIP reception beginning at 6:00 p.m. and the main event at 7:00 p.m. Tickets cost $100 per person. Tables of 10 are also available. Each ticket includes $50,000 worth of betting chips for the gaming tables. Business casual attire.
“We look forward to bringing our community’s champions together for a ‘fun’raising event to help further our mission,” said Johnny Day, interim executive director of Jacob’s Ladder. “It’s about positioning unemployed Charlotteans with the better hand to compete in the workforce, ensuring a sustainable future.”
