Ninja Nation, the youth fitness concept that creates challenging obstacle-course arenas, is continuing to expand its nationwide presence with franchisees, opening its new location in Huntersville on May 22.
The new location will be owned and operated by former Hollywood stuntman Kevin Cassidy and his wife Megan, offering 12,000 square feet of obstacles to accommodate both adults and kids, providing them the opportunity to play, train, and compete in a state-of-the-art arena while developing skills, strength, and confidence, according to a company spokesperson.
To celebrate their grand opening, the Huntersville location will be offering special pricing on birthday parties, class packs, open gym punch passes and memberships. On Saturday May 22, they will be doing one-hour open gym tickets for $10 and a Ninja Showcase from 3 pm-4 pm with a special guest appearance by American Ninja Warrior competitor, Geoff Britten.
“I am thrilled to introduce Ninja Nation to Huntersville. The concept combines sport with entertainment, something I’m very passionate about,” stated Cassidy. “I’m excited to provide the community with a family-focused concept that is unlike anything they’ve ever seen, and I am looking forward to helping people of all ages and abilities achieve their goals and overcome obstacles.”
Ninja Nation’s goal is to create over 1 million ninja “heroes” by their on-going mission to provide a fun, safe, and engaging space where everyone can find that “hero” within themselves. To accomplish this Ninja Nation focuses on their core values of engagement, encouragement, and energy in the facility at all times. Ninja Nation uses their state-of-the-art obstacle course arena to teach participants how to improve their physical health, along with focusing on the importance of overcoming failure and building confidence. The brand prides itself on its unique offering of classes, open gym sessions, birthday parties, field trips, special events, competitions and their mobile obstacle course.
“With their undeniable passion for fitness and entertainment, Kevin and Megan will make a great impact in the Huntersville community,” said Wayne Cavanaugh, Founder and CEO of Ninja Nation. “Kevin and Megan share Ninja Nation’s passion for the combination of ‘sport-tainment’, considering Kevin’s roles as a stuntman in Marvel movies and Megan’s success as a businesswoman. We look forward to seeing a tremendously successful future for the Cassidy’s as they build a new community of heroes in North Carolina.”
