July Home Sales Tick Up 3 Percent In Charlotte Area

The Charlotte Regional Realtor® Association reports on the residential real estate market in this region based on Carolina Multiple Listing Services, Inc. (CarolinaMLS) data. CarolinaMLS year-over-year home sales in July increased 3.1 percent with 4,246 properties sold compared to 4,119 properties sold in July 2016. Home sales were down 10 percent compared to June 2017. All 67 Mattress Firm stores in Charlotte are hosting a School Supply Drive to benefit local foster youth and families. Transcend Charlotte Launches Fund-Raising Campaign For Transgender Support

Transcend Charlotte, a local nonprofit providing support services to transgender and gender non-conforming adults, has launched a capital campaign with the goal of raising $10,000. The campaign will focus on growing the organization to include paid staff, which is currently being completely volunteer run.
