Park and Rec Hosts Tennis Tourney for Athletes with Disabilities

The Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department will partner with the Charlotte Tennis Association, Adaptive Tennis Association of North Carolina and Special Olympics of North Carolina for the first annual Charlotte Fall Challenge Tennis Tournament for athletes with intellectual disabilities. The tournament is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Jeff Adams Tennis Center, 1200 W. Tyvola Road.

Athletes of all ages are invited to compete free of charge in one of the following skill levels:
• Beginner (Skills)
• Intermediate (Short Court):
• Advanced (Match Play):
• Unified Doubles
